The Near-East markets, open on this Sunday, followed Egypt in a steep decline; futures quotes throughout the world suggest most other markets will go down tomorrow. Fear of another crash is apparent from the rise in price of gold and US Government securities. I do expect to see a sharp correction of the US indexes but think it will be brief.

     Occasionally I'm swept up in the excitement and attempt to predict a movement of the market; such outbursts should be consistently ignored. Today's buying frenzy took me by surprise and also crushed my hope of buying MRK on the cheap.
