US-South Korea trade talks are progressing well. Mr. Obama seems to be on the right track there.

     Note the hint that the Koreas may be moving toward unification. I've seen several stories during the past week regarding the possibility.

I suspect the Korean confrontation is a matter of saving face. If so, its resolution should be left in Korean hands because Westerners would blunder and Asians would choose sides.
