It has been awhile since I browsed TruCon's home-away-from-aantares. For the longest time his username there was "stop the madness" but he has changed that to now be "say no to socialism".

I find that to be quite ironic and yet amusing at the same time. As he collects his Social Benefits (Social Security, MEDICARE, Stimulus checks, etc.) and enjoys the umbrella of all other benefits which our socialist society makes available to him (our Armed Forces /Air&Highway /FDA /FCC /FTC /HHS /Police /Fire /EMS /etc. SAFETY Services)... he decries the very system of things which keep this nation afloat! ROTF :rotf:

That same cognitive dissonance runs rampant within my family, Karl. Truly boggles the mind.

And it matters not how many times you delineate the difference between socialism and communism, the two remain the same in their pitiful excuses for brains.

But they love socialism so long as you don't tax them for it and don't call it socialism. LOL!

And don't bother, they cannot be reasoned with...

He used to argue that he "paid into the system"... thing is MOST drawing benefits pay in nowhere near what they've accepted in return. Hypothetical examples:

Drawing $1000 each month, from SS for 10 years amounts to $120,000. It's unlikely one PAID IN that much. Then too, consider one might continue to draw that monthly check for another 20 - 30 years... NO WAY one PAID IN that amount. Also consider what was contributed to MEDICARE while working... one hospital stay could easily CANCEL OUT the contributor's amount which they PAID IN (and it's very unlikely one hospital stay is all they would reap from the system). Then add in the FACT that whatever they've paid in taxes can't come close to paying for the roads upon which they travel. Issue after issue, yields the same FACT: no one pays in ALL that they reap, daily!

Of course, JR, I know I'm preachin' to the choir here. Smile-Big :D

I can't understand the difference between (unrestrained) capitalism and canibalism.

Sort of like the reaction to Obamacare vs the Affordable Care Act! Or just being able to get insurance with previous conditions!

I understand they can keep anal tissue alive with hydroxychloroquinin light-injections using the proper trump suck-up subjects. So, it's possible it's still alive, in a way.

truc’s anus was his neck-up thanks to nazi-yoga exercises he practiced for decades. It’s hard to explain...you have to use your “visual perspicacity” to envision it.
