Today, August 21st, NOAA/NWS is indicating that states along the Gulf Coast are in for some very heavy weather come late-evening/night-time on the 26th of August. The NOAA/NWS Projections and their associated Images CHANGE with time... just go to The National Hurricane Center's Website and CLICK on any "storm" of interest to you... in order to follow the changing projections. The clickable LINKS below are screenshots which I have saved, just to document projections and actual outcomes as to how it all will play-out over the coming days. While now only Tropical Depression (TD)... the projected paths put TD13 and TD14 headed for those states. Both TDs are projected to arrive as Hurricanes at about the same time in different locations. So far this year (and in recent years) NOAA/NWS has been pretty damned accurate with their projections as to where and when tropical systems will strike. If NOAA/NWS projections turn out to be even close to 100% accurate... this could be very bad news. | ||
