Then there was the 5.7M quake yesterday near the Mexican border that rattled the end of a baseball game in San Diego, reminiscent of the quake that rattled a baseball game in Oakland some years ago.
5.7M 2010/06/15 04:26:58UTC 32.698 -115.924 6.9km SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

The 5.7M time-wise is an aftershock to the 7.5M quake in the Nicobar Islands recently. So far I have counted local aftershocks of the 5.7M at 3M-34 4M-7 5M-1. That is pulverizing a lot of rock.

The Moon was at its Near Point to the Earth yesterday.

Stay tuned,

Donald,

Goodness, that lightning strike was such an illuminating sign from heaven, but only the 'small people' understand; and that would include me, the smallest of all. Wink ;)

There is so much age-end theology involved in this event. No wonder it made big headlines! As you know, lightning is one of the main judgment symbols throughout the Bible, and especially throughout The Apocalypse.

Later I will flip open the Bible and post all the significant passages, so people can see the light. Although many there be who will 'go into perdition' as soon as these events are defined; but then again, that is what these Road topics are all about ~~ Enlightenment! Smile :)

And the Light is beginning to take form... and ends on "The Road to Perdition".

Sela

P.S. Would you believe it? Just as I pressed "Post Now" there was a loud buzz and my computer crashed! Wow :wow: Goodness, the Man of Galilee must be giving another 'message from heaven' confirming all Truth to His Bride! Was able to restore the computer and finish this post. More later. Whew! :whew:

I just finished watching RCC station EWTN, first a video tour of a Spanish monastery, then a report on China. The monastery reminded me a lot of the beautiful Church of Peter and Paul near Rome, Italy.

The commentator on China relates that he was the first person of faith to enter Red China, was barred for many years because of his reporting on birth limitation and abortion, and recently was allowed to return. He says despite the prohibition of building new churchs that congregations can build meeting places, that the church is growing with an estimate of 30 million believers, that Catholic villages do not honor the birth control practices and hide pregnant women when inspectors come, and that all current RCC bishops have been required recently to attend a three month indoctrination by the Communist propaganda wing.

I'm beginning to think that we need look no further than China for an ingrained antiChrist mentality. Catholics are barred already from government leadership positions, but Christ is leading the way there.

It is a bit hard to imagine Senator Joe Lieberman sponsoring a "kill switch" for the Internet unless he is trying to get back into graces with the Democratic Party and Obama.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...h-woul_n_615923.html

On the one hand it looks innocent enough as a wartime power. On the other hand, it looks like an extension of government as it already is clamping down on web sites with costs.

The attitude of Obama toward talk shows on radio is already known. My wife listens to a number of these, and at times I hear virulent opinions against Obama.

Even here in New Mexico the primaries are over, women are the governor candidates for both Democratic and Republic Parties, and the negative ads are already breathtaking in data and distortions.

I posted the "Internet Kill Switch" article over on Road to Perdition, as it is an on the ground thing.

Here is another 'on the ground' thing. Jack Cafferty just said on CNN a few minutes ago on his commentary program that "Our government is badly broken."

Sounds like another echo from all the roads we have been traveling on over the years ~~ this one being the final wind-up, wouldn't you agree?

Haven't been able to post much lately, mainly due to health and familial matters. My husband has been off for a few days, but will be at work tomorrow so plan on reviewing some of the latest postings and then commenting, both here and the "White Horses" topic.

There do seem to be some significant cracks in the Obama administration.
A federal judge ruled against Obama's oil drilling moratorium off shore.
General McChrystal is rumored to have resigned after adverse remarks about Obama in Rolling Stone Magazine. He is also rumored to be apologizing to many mentioned in that article.
Lawyers are saying the 20 billion reparations deal between Obama and BP is illegal, as it must be okayed by Congress.

Not only the BP CEO but also Obama and Biden had a weekend of relaxation, neither affected by Gulf coast residents out of their livelihood because of the Gulf oil disaster.

The self-styled assassin after Bin Laden has been released without charge by the Pakistanis.
Let's hope they gave him body armor and a good map.

There was another resignation by an Obama administration leader, White House Budget Director Peter Orszag.

These are hot, lazy days with hot topics demanding meaningful responses.

I was right the first time. President Obama says General McChrystal resigned his command in Afghanistan, and he appointed General Patreas, currently commander for Iraq, over Afghanistan.

There are very high winds tonight in Albuquerque, with upset animals and wife. Mainly flowers and garbage bins are flying, however.

Donald,

Just out of curiosity, thought I make an attempt to post on the Aant Hill again, and viola, I was able to post. This morning it must have been shut down because when I tried to post, I was prevented from doing so. The message read, "The Live Cloud Service is currently not available. Please try again."

Earthquakes, flooding, wildfires, tornadoes, and all the other great catastrophes, not to mention the great oil spill in the Gulf, continue on as prophesied in the Bible.

Frankly, I was just 'testing the waters' to see whether it was possible to post at this time; and had some interesting responses to your posts, but didn't keep any notes so will just leave it at that.

Have some good news, too. Will email you about it.

The prospect of a hurricane in the Gulf is enlarging the disasters to epic proportions.

Today there was another big quake in the Solomon Islands, on the SW side of an island, but with high 5M aftershocks in Indonesia and Chile. The Moon is at its Far Point on 6/28.

For funsies, there was a partial ecliple of the Moon as seen from the continental US this morning before dawn. It was a full eclipse further out in the Pacific, over "Sweet Paradise" Hawaii.

For next week's pre4th accordion tour of senior centers I have finally obtained the score of Irving Berlin's "God Bless America" and the fourth verse of the Star Spangled Banner, which includes the phrase, "And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'"

The weeks ahead will prove the worth of our faith in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Master.

Sela,

THAT is all you have to say about McChrystal's resignation??? Not even "good riddance"??? Do you have ANY idea at all what a psychopathic monster that creature is? I was totally opposed to him being given command over the troops in Afghanistan and said so at the time. At least he won't disgrace the U.S. Army and America any more he has already, but what he really deserves is a court martial, or at the very least a full-blown congressional investigation. And that's what he'd get if there were any justice left in this country.

My impression (yours is welcome too) is that the man was burned out on the Army. Why would he participate in that article in the first place? It reminds me of soldiers returning from Viet Nam.

The whole idea of a Road to Perdition is that it might well be expected to end in something less than desireable personally. The end of the movie was fairly predictable considering the character Tom Hanks played.

It was interesting that McChrystal resigned his command. I haven't heard of other possible consequences such as you mention, or even demotion or mandatory retirement.

Donald,

When I logged on to my Internet homepage earlier, this link about Guy's and Gal's Relationship Advice Books caught my eye, so I clicked into it.

I am posting this to show the difference in a man's and a woman's thinking. In that link, there was a quotation by John F. Kennedy that I am sure most people would readily agree with because it sounds so legitimate; but my life's experiences and thought processes obviously are completely at odds with that quote.

This is the quote:

quote:
" ... man will be what he was born to be: free and independent." John F. Kennedy

Huh? I thought. Now that is a strange quote coming from the 35th President of the United States. Man was 'born to be free and independent'?! Confused  It sounds more like free-wheeling thinking to me because in my mind, that quote transmits exactly the opposite opinion!

To me, "Born Free" refers to animals, not humans. They are free to roam the wilds without any responsibility or accountability. In fact, the movie "Born Free" is about young lion cubs raised to adulthood who eventually had to be caged in a zoo or returned to the wilds because of their very nature to be 'born free'.

IMHO, the idea that man is 'born free' shows more arrogance than understanding of those words. To me, that statement means that man wants no responsibility, no accountability, no questioning of his behavior, and that he wants to be free to do whatever he wants to do, whenever he wants to do it, without anyone questioning his reasoning or his motives.

No man is free to pursue only that which benefits himself while attempting to deprive others of their freedom!

You see, that statement epitomizes the very goal that provided me with reasons for writing my first book, "Clothed With The Sun", which not only describes my religious experience, but describes the 'born free' attitude of the man I was married to at that time, including human rights abuses. His attitude was that he was 'free' to do anything he wanted to do without considering the effect it would have on other people, just like the 'beasts' of the jungles.

Now do you see the difference in male and female thinking? Wink ;) And now I understand why sometimes you and I are on two completely different wave lengths when we post. Thumbs Up-Wink :tuw:

Okay, enough of my ranting. Hmmm, now where shall I post this? The "White Horses" topic is about riding white horses through cyberspace while describing the events on earth that will bring in the final consummation; and "The Road to Perdition" is the final road in this series.

Hah! After reviewing your post just now about the 'continuing loss of individual freedom' quoted above ~~ why, there is the answer! It couldn't fit in more perfectly with this post I was typing off-line, so here goes the mouse clicking into the 'Post Now' link.

We'll see what happens next ~~ and whether I will have the freedom to post this.

Sela

And Thomas Jefferson wrote of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
Even though Amazing Grace was written about the time of the American Revolution, inspiring the British Parliament to ban slavery on British ships, Americans didn't fulfill the dream until the Civil War.

Our posts on these three subjects are about the dreams of men and women, and not just those for cyberspace. I'm referring to the dreams of doing and being rewarded, of course.
