There is a movie out and on the post Apocalypse period. It is called The Book of Eli, and is rated R. It assumes the planet will have been devastated, some people will be left, and the global need is an ethic. This is a Hollywood adventure and not Scriptural, and it is very patriarchal. It also starts very dark in the cinematography, but opens up and has lots of killings, violence toward women, gangster crime and gimmicks.

I decided to put it here because it doesn't really give a lot of hope.

There was a 7.3M quake in Vanuatu today, with a 5.8M quake shortly thereafter offshore Japan.
Today is also the lunar perigee (Near Point).

Of interest also is the best meteor shower of the year, the Perseids, which peaks on the 12th, but has already provided some fascinating fireballs.

There are too many in too short a period, enough to make me suspect something bigger coming shortly.

I notice that USGS has upped the quake magnitude for Equador to 7.1M Look down at the weekly 6M and greater totals, and you can see that those 7M quakes are coming more often than once a month. The Caveat is that some of them are clumped together, as in the Philippines.

People seem to be getting more excited about the record hot weather this summer.

I was not able to see the "best meteor shower of the year", the Perseids, because of cloud cover today.

The temperature here was in the low 90's, and I am watching the level of watering for my apple tree, which is ready for early picking. The coordinator for the church came over and said my organic apples were delicious. Picking is Monday. No word recently from the vinegar man.
A complication is school taking up next week.

The last month with days with no sunspots ended in June with 2, per NOAA and www.spaceweather.com. Here is how the new sunspot cycle poked along with days of no sunspots:

And yet, the Sun has only sent one M-Class and no X Class Solar Flares since 7/14/2010.

What is interesting is the lapse of data from now to 2007.
Maybe the extra energy is coming from Gamma Ray sources other than the Sun?

The total of 7M quakes for August was just increased to four:

This magnitude is very similar to the Ecuador 7.1M. The quake was also preceded just west in the Philippines a few days ago.

Pakistan flooding also bears watching. It was reported on the news today that the head of the UN, Ban Ki Moon, (hmmm, wonder if he is related to Sun Myung Moon), called this catastrophe the worst disaster that he has ever seen. He was visiting the head of Pakistan. It is affecting an astonishing twenty million people, and 1600 are reportedly dead.

Pakistan is definitely getting dose of perdition. Let's hope the water gets into the nuclear labs and rusts out the nuclear bombs.

Here it is four days gone in the DIGEST week, and the number of 5M quakes has zipped over 31.

There is a big earthquake swarm going on in one localized area of the Northern Marianas Islands NE of Yap. The big quakes is now called a 6.9M, although initially it was a 7M. There are two 6M aftershocks. The energy is mostly local, but there is one 6.3M aftershock in Papua New Guinea to the south. Both lunar Mid milestones are today.

Ever look at the chart of Gamma Ray events from Outer Space?. They come from all over, and mostly are just picked up, but they are analyzed and may have more on them some daya later.

All these things have been predicted in the Biblical accounts of age-end prophecies which have been posted on these forums for many years. And the time is truly NOW, even as we speak/post.

That 'guy in the red suit' (not Santa Claus, btw, but the Tempter) has been battling humans ever since Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. That was the reason for the return of the second Adam AND the return of the second Eve, as stated in my third book, "The Bride's Letters to the Churches". Will list the pages later, with explanations.

Notice my notes are short and simple. That's the best way to keep the attention of the reader, by not boring him with long dissertations.

Well, Sela, all that reminds me of why forecasting earthquakes is illegal. The government doesn't want to deal with mass hysteria and the ensuing law suits. So instead people get to watch the hysteria in the stock market, which is plunging again today.

Our better way is to walk with Jesus, enjoy the abundant harvest he has given us who believed it could come, and be sensitive to those who got caught at the top of the real estate market, like a single man down the street did.

One problem with our computer we solved this weekend was to have our computer on when all the scanning gets done. They are set for 3 AM, and we had been turning the computer on at 6:30 AM. The scans tied up the Memory, and trying to get anything done really took a lot of time.

Now everything works quickly.

For the time of the study, there were 9 milestones ( one a month) or 18 (two a month), most within three days before the quakes.

The reason for the study is Rosh HaShanah on a day with the perigee, the Moon crossing of the Equator, and the New Moon. On 8/26 Iran showed its capability for a big quake, dampened to 5.7M by the Moon at Apogee the day before.

This may be a fizzle, but 9/8 is a spiritual date with a strong lunar milestones to watch.

There are three major aspects of the lunar orbit toward and away from the Earth on 9/8, and I think a major quake is possible somewhere in the planet in the two days starting then.

Yom Kippur and the end of Sukkot occur only on the lunar southern and northern limits.

Sukkot looks interesting, in that the Moon passes its Far Point before Sukkot begins, and the two major lunar milestones appear covered, to prevent a major quake.

That's the road map. We shall see how this works out.

There is something wrong with this, one thing being that any quake in the world on that date gets tied to Rosh HaShanah, and hence to Israel, yet the milestones are related to the Moon, not Israel. In my DIGEST published today there are NO 6M or greater quakes since the middle of August, even though some by the milestones were expected.

So I am letting anything that does happen be by happenstance, not synchronism. If something does happen, I'll reexamine the calendar, because Christmas is included at the end of the year, and each coincidence may build a difference case.

Wouldn't you know it? I call "all clear!" and the planet pops a 7.0M quake under Christchurch, New Zealand, of all places, and within the coverage of the lunar milestones for Mid and Max.
There was one 6M aftershock up the Tonga Trench. What I am now waiting for is something transglobal, which happens to be the eastern Mediterranean area.
