The 597-foot tall bronze statue of Indian independence leader, Sardar Patel, which just made its debut is credited with being the world's tallest statue. It's almost double the height of the Statue of Liberty. The problem, from a sightseeing point of view, comes from the statue being located in a remote area of India without any public transit to the site.
But some intrepid travelers will make the journey, and I hope someone will jot down their impressions.
