Hope no one was affected by The Trump administration
new policy in banning cruise visits and some group tours to Cuba. One estimate was that 800,000 cruise reservations might have to be changed. Some cruise lines have begun changing their itineraries accordingly.

One of the stupider statements said if you had already paid for your trip you were not affected. I wondered then how the cruise ship was going to get into port. Turns out they can’t! And some are losing money by allowing cancelations the day before they were to sail! Plus refunding chance cost on airlines.
While cruise contracts state they can change itineraries, the better cruise lines, especially those with multiple ports in Cuba, are doing the right thing by not invoking the clause, especially those about unrest!
