You know who you are. You sniveling nasty kneeling putrid creatures of need. Pffffttttt! to all of you. Having said that, I would like to say: Peachy - you are the voice of liberal reason on this bb. I agree with almost everything you say. You are probably a genius. Gus - you are and have always been the zen master. You are inscrutable. Jkat - you are also a zen master - but everyone knows it - so, you're less zen. Lynn Dee - you are the the most amazing voice par excellence of the liberals ever. Even if you don't know it, we know it. Zoot - you are a formidable opponent to anyone who disagrees with you - and woe to them. You make me laugh and you bring new and interesting things to any forum every day. Whyisit - you are a good friend to anyone who dares have you as a friend. You bring up stuff all the time which is of great interest and controversy. Dewey - everyone lives for your next comment - you're interesting, intelligent, and totally off-kilter. How did anyone get to be like you? Karl - you're a very sensitive and decent human being - and no one dismisses what you say - we just don't know how to respond to it, most of the time. FRighty - you're a Lou Costello to everyone's Abbott - you just love the attention. Hell, everyone would miss you a million times over if you ever left. Old Mole - Is there anyone alive who doesn't admire you? You are an ultimate teacher and inquisitor. And you challenge everyone to do better. Amprof - I like you're sesquipedalian posts. You're such a buffoon! Thank you. Uga Buga - Who the hell are you, really? You're brilliant, whoever you are. You obviously follow this bb closely and know all the players. I like what you have to say. CJ - you're an enigma. You can change like the wind, but circumstances have made the wind blow in only one direction for you lately. Obviously, you're brilliant when you want to be. And you're a good friend to anyone who wants you to be. What's up, babe? Compguy - You're kind of like a genius, but you're also nuts. You figure out stuff which is whole lot more than 99% of people ever do. And you figure it out very efficiently and convincingly. I'm almost always convinced. Reality Check - Oh, brilliant sweet soul! I hope everyone is well with you. Raksha - You have a lot to say about a whole buncha s*it. And every bit of it's interesting. You've written most of the book, but I wish someone would publish a book about you. I'll invest in the movie! Murbach - keep drinking those beers and red wine. You'll make sense some day. Zorro - You're such a nasty plagiarizing nerd. What would the liberals do without you? You're like money in the bank. Pawn - you're a laughing stock. A zero. Food for fodder. I'd ask you to get a life except that you might actually get one. And that would be frightening. Lady Bug - I have nothing nice to say about you. You're human waste. You were a harpie then and you're a harpie now. You always will be. Now gfy. Sean - You are a very smart fellow. You are a great teacher to everyone. BullDoug - You're an extremely knowledgeable fellow - you argue economics and politics with the best of them, anywhere - and I feel bad for anyone who disagrees with you. And I'm pleased to know you. Chango - You give a great argument to anyone who wants one. I've come to agree with you about certain stuff. Israel does indeed need to take the lead in the Middle East in terms of negotiations and humanity - otherwise, nothing good will happen. Harby Bane - You always come up with a great one-liner which makes me laugh. You're a real liberal and I admire that. Dirigo - Anyone who doesn't love you must be devoid of any human attributes. You're funny, you're engaging, and you know what's up. Queen - Where the hell did you come from? You're just incredible and everything that everyone was looking for for years. I can't believe you just showed up and stole everyone's hearts - just like that! Incredible! Koka - You're such a sweet, trusting, loyal, and independent person. I can see why you make enemies. LOL Victor - I almost forgot you. Then again, you're easy to forget. LOL! JohnT - You're another real liberal. I see you as always trying to understand an issue and then carefully weighing in on it.  And You're freaking me out... I had a crazy Great Aunt Della who wore a bikini in her 90s. The family tried to keep her in "the attic," too, but I kept letting her out. She was a delight. I just went to pee and an amazing thing happened. There was a yellow background, of course, but developing in the middle was a bubbly man who was quite bold and he eventually had a brother. He was beckoning me to come out and join them on their journey on the town. They were becoming a bit menacing so I had to flush them down. But I wondered how much power do I have and how much power do I have to give others. It was real or funky - one of those. I'm hoping it was Funky Broadway. Holy Bhagworm | |||

Della was my father's Mom, and I wish someone had locked her up... she was tight and mean and petty and every time a letter arrived from her, my Mom would throw up before reading it. Hated her. Bella was Della's aunt... a sweet soul who was probably a lil' slow but kind to the Nth degree. She had many beaus in her younger days but as she was the last daughter at home, GG'father wouldn't let her marry. The attic wasn't one of those nasty ol' dusty places, it was Bella's safe haven... filled with sunshine and girly accoutrements and all her cats... a maid was hired after GG'Father died and she brought Bella all her meals, and ran her baths, and helped her dress (appropriately) and fed her cats. Once or twice a month Bella was brought downstairs for a Sunday dinner or a trip to the local library. *CJ | |||
