look fellahs .. each of has at least one particular topic about which we might have passionate feelings about .. i know i do ..and therefore .. i assume everyone else does as well ..

something a bit deeper than the everyday tug of war of opposing political philosophies ..

but when two very bright people learn full well they are 1) diametrically opposed 2)certain they are right on the issue and 3)hellbound against change in position ..

why not agree to disagree and simply skip the remake ..

there are so many other things y'all agree on .. don't let the negative push out all the good ..

My choices at this point include... leave the topic alone, leave it alone but red-line anything that might be considered inflammatory/insulting/bigoted, leave it alone but lock it down, or leave it alone but move it to Free Exchange.
