No, it was Pennville Bill's post. It was the "Don't re-nig in 2012" post done on an Obama logo. It was sickeningly racist.

I give FR props for taking it down. I also invited him to denounce that kind of racism here, and thus the call for his reasons for removing the offending post. Thus far all he did was remove it. No denunciation. We're all aware that TGTBATU harbors racists. I just thought that this might give FR an opportunity to once and for all show his hand.

I have visited that site as well. Even here in Frogville, I have no next door neighbors who are like the people on TGTBTU, if I did, I'd move post haste.

Although I respect many people who have a different values and outlook than my own, it would be unreasonable to ask me to respect people who hold views such as those expressed on that board.

Both of these mission statements are patently false where TGTBATU is concerned. I was booted off many years ago in the most vile and rude manner imaginable merely for disagreeing with John Hunter. They don't allow dissenting opinion there. And, it's a safe haven for racists. No one there batted an eye over Pennville Bill's racist post, not even you, FR. There's a reason for that too, although you may not want to hear it. There's a very strong sense that you get off on it. No one else here, left or right, gives that sense. And, speaking for myself but perhaps others, no one wants to feel compelled to participate in that. Sometimes just reading what you post makes me feel involuntarily conscripted into that activity, and I find it really creepy.
