Yeppers, Glenn... same-o, same-o.

The Gentle Giant declined to visit CT this summer, so he's been working (hard, too!) at our local YMCA as the day camp custodian. It's a wonderful experience for him on a number of fronts... he luhvs earning a paycheck, he loathes the work (it's why people go to college, right?), TX has broken heat records left & right so he's trimmed down some and despite layers upon layers of sunscreen he's rosy tan, and as we work at the same facility --as does the GG's girlfriend-- we can commute with one another, putting off the inevitable, a c...c...ca... c-a-r for him and the requisite car insur... insur... insur-a-n-c-e.

No, no, really... I'm fine. I just have a tough time saying the "c" and "i" words these days.

That's an entirely separate issue which, I'm sure, all of the right wingers would be pleased to discuss separately.

It all started here when I began having difficulty logging in, so I started poking around and found the "Powered by Scial Strata" phrase was also a link.

So I thought, okay, great! Aantares will be here for a long time! I mean, we all love it, we're here all the time. I also figured since it gives unlimited bandwidth we could indulge ourselves with more graphics... perhaps even unlock html access so we could embed videos.

But don't try to mix in the dearth of right wing dollars into this. It's completely unlinked in any form whatsoever. AND, as stated, open for private discussion at any time should anyone be honestly interested in why.

Don't get me wrong. Although it appears to say "$59.00 per month unlimited bandwidth" the money was not what was driving my initial question.

My question was bandwidth, and was it really unlimited? If so, it appears all the previous angst over image posting would now be moot. That was the question.

The reason this is important to me is because it will make posts much more interesting to have actual images posted rather than simple links.

It takes no Don Draper to figure out why National Geographic is such a popular classic... it's the stunning photography.

Of course, a poster must use his own hosting location rather than strain the original publisher's own bandwidth, and as with experts of printed material, acknowledgment of the original owner would be required, but as far as Aantares bandwidth, the practice would be part of the Social Strata agreement.

I'm called a lot of things. I'm accused of a lot of things on this board and insulted frequently....my patriotism is questioned every day and if I don't agree with the opposition, it's hatred, pure and simple. You just don't see that....or choose not to. I try to ignore most of it and consider the source.

I do see what my brothas and sistas say. But I'm not responsible for them. Some of it makes me cringe but I gotta suggest to you that you are wearing blinders if you think the righties are blamless. . I see name-calling....I see whyisit called featherhead. He doesn't complain but he strikes back in other ways. I can hardly blame him.

I would also like to add that it is very frustrating to go to a lot of time and trouble presenting facts to people whose minds are apparently the consistency of Jell-0. If it's something they don't want to hear, they just won't listen. It's either a conscious decision on their part or due to limited thought processes.

The record is clear that CJ has not divulged anything more about righties as a group than she has about the lefties in the past. It's just more of your denial.

At the beginning of this year I asked myself why contribute to a place where I was insulted so regularly. It seemed a bit masochistic to me.
