My first thought was Sominex, but then I realized I was totally abusing the analogy. So, if Bob Dole needs (apparently) viagra, I guess Fred Thompson needs... amphetamines? Coffee? I wish Fred was not halwkin reverse mortgages. It's another way banks take advantage of people and steal their wealth. If a person has a lot of equity in their home, cash it out,take out a term life policy that pays the liens when you die, make payments until you die and leave the house to your kids and don't let the bank steal your home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Has anyone seen Schrodinger? ~~~~~~~ History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. They are bad, bad instruments and this is one instance where regulation of the industry needs expansion. Folks are being hustled. BTW, the trick to what I was trying to exp[lain above is they use the large equity payment to make the loan payments leaving the large equity chunk for other needs. Evidently the reverse mortgages are much more common in Florida than they are here, which would make perfect sense.
