The Romney campaign’s very first television ad, released this evening, dishonestly presents a 2008 McCain campaign quote as the words of President Obama. The ad features a voice-over of Obama saying “if we keep talking about the economy, we’re going to lose.” Then-candidate Obama indeed said those words, perhaps dozens of times during the closing month of the 2008 campaign. The only problem? Obama was actually quoting the words of a strategist from Sen. John McCain’s campaign.
Another eyebrow-raising moment in the ad comes when it attacks “record foreclosures,” despite the fact that Romney’s stated housing policy is “don’t try and stop the foreclosure process.” current.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you don't like being called TEABAGGERS we'll be happy to call you KOCHSUCKERS |

What can we expect from Steele? Romney is the party's candidate and that's who will run against Obama. You can tell that by how all the old guard 'Pubs are circling the Romney wagons. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I find that every day I live, the more I understand. Life begins at 50. There are several articles using this incident to start a conversation about how the media is afraid to use the word "liar." It tries to be journalistic by presenting both sides of an issue and then letting the reader/viewer form a decision.
But sometimes you simply have to call a lie a lie. That's also part of being a journalist. The description of what Romney did in this ad is not "an interesting point of view"--it's a LIE. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...gn-ad_n_1108631.html Jeff |

Did it stop anybody? Nope. Did it work? Nope. Willard may remind folks of the movie character with the killer rats. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you don't like being called TEABAGGERS we'll be happy to call you KOCHSUCKERS |
