Conservatives don't want to admit that homosexuality even might be innate. If it's genetic, then it's a status like being black, so conservatives aren't justified in discriminating against gays. Conservatives, particularly the Religious Right, want to argue that it's a choice -- a sinful choice -- because they want to discriminate against gays and argue that it can be "cured" somehow.

Mole has it right. Nobody doubts that being left-handed is an inherited status, but there are people who are truly ambidextrous, just as there are people who are truly bisexual.

Yes I do. A homosexual is one that is attracted to the same sex. If you are attracted to the opposite sex then you are a heterosexual. This is simple folks.
My guess is that Cynthia Nixon is a bisexual that hates men! That being said, I don't even know who Cynthia Nixon is.
