Certainly roof structures are built to code for that kind of snow load, I would expect.

I think Koka knew what she was doing when she built her winter-den. If things start to creak, she'll be on it in a flash. She may have to call in some amigos, but that's what you do when you live where she does.

five level feet of new snow is a lot of weight. I know it also depends on how "wet" the snow is, but either way...

My friend Judy told me she's got tulip flowers booming in her yard, five miles from here. My fish are hungry and lively, most days, or a portion thereof.
