i think grammar and syntax hold sway over gridlock ... or they would .. had either been employed in "the question" ...

you're welcome in advance ...btw ...

I voted about it. I think if gridlock is definitely good for America. If we didn't have gridlock, we've have to invent some.

They believe in government being the means by which the slackers in the country get a parasitic ride on business. Anytime the government is hamstrung by gridlock it has to be good for the economy.

Ah.

IF that's what Mr. Laszlo meant, then I believe he might've had more responses if he'd phrased the question:
  • What do you think about Congressional gridlock? It is ________ for business in America., or even

  • Do you think Congressional gridlock is [ good ] or [ bad ] for business?
The way it's phrased now the question is missing an idiom and makes no sense.

Further, Mr. Laszlo certainly would've gotten more responses if he'd posted this in the News forum.

But what the hey... not my poll.

Oh no I'm not CJ! I'm thinking of inventing some about gridlock business myself. What is good for America should be good for me.......If you get my snow drift.

It sure is, Sir Tenderfoot. I could give examples but you already know.

It appears that Jack Daniels is hitting the conservotards much more mightily than it is for any Obama supporters.

I cannot help but wonder Your Holiness, if Mr. Laszlo was so sure of the answer why did he ask the question?
