It looks like the Pac-10 is going to try and raid the Big-12 and take Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.
The offer is said to expire this sunday.

I've become a TCU fan the past couple of years, and I'll be interested to see how they shake out in all this.

I joked the other day that the latest rumor was that "The Pac-10, the Big Ten and the Big XII are all going to merge into one super-super-conference. Word is it's going to be called the BIGgie 2 Pac XXXIII. They're going to play the SEC every four years and the winning coach becomes president."

Well apparently reports of the demise of the Big XII are a bit premature.

Heh...apparently the Big Twelve now has ten schools while the Big Ten has twelve...
