Seems a certain lack of excitement about the game this year.

The biggest storyline may be "Roethlisberger is, or was at least, kind of a ******."

I can truthfully say I don't care one way or the other...I'm paying more attention to the English Premier League nowadays...Manchester United is unbeaten in 24 matches this season, but they're being pursued by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City...

I can't wait! Perhaps on this bb there might be a lack of excitement?

Party I was at was a bit like that.

First half only had a couple of bright spots. 2nd half was a lot more entertaining, I thought.

Got any thoughts as to why soccer never seems to gain much interest here in the U.S.A.?
There was a brief surge during the days of Pele, but that was about it.

Am I missing something?

Ice hockey's a lot more conducive to American interests than soccer, and even hockey's somewhat marginal.

I'll bet I'm the only one here that remembers the "original six". Smile :)
I still can't quite get used to Los Angeles, Nashville, etc. as hocky towns. LOL!
But they are both low scoring sports.

I can't figure out how Florida has two hockey teams while Minnesota only has one. Duluth is certainly more of a hockey town than Tampa Bay.

Oh, I think the NHL really screwed the pooch as far as the (re-)location goes.

Teams in San Jose, LA, Anaheim, Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Miami... but, what, only 5 left in all of Canada I think?

Then they wonder why some teams are bleeding red ink.
