changed some of this browser's javascript settings... got unexpected results... so testing stuff here

EDIT #1

EDIT #2 hmmm... it's not loading the EDIT #1 changes, when I click "edit" again... am having to click RELOAD page (on the EDIT message window) before the previous EDIT's changes show up

EDIT #3 hmmm... same thing (EDIT #2's changes only show-up if I click RELOAD on the EDIT message window)... also have to RELOAD the topic, before updated/edited messages display in the current thread

(oh well, I'll just have to keep these things in mind... when not using FIREFOX)

EDIT #2 ...ok, didn't have to reload the EDIT message window, in order for EDIT #1 to appear

EDIT #3 ...same result as in EDIT #2, but still have to click RELOAD for the topic/thread CONTENT to be updated (so as to reflect the EDITed material -- but even if I don't RELOAD the topic... if I click EDIT again, the material appears as it should--containing the previously edited/added material)

...as an aside:

OPERA is definitely FASTER than FIREFOX (likely because of all the addons/plugins I have configured in FIREFOX)... but OPERA's functionality leaves somethings to be desired. However; since I'm running WindowsME, I can't upgrade to the latest version of OPERA (that requires that I at least be using WindowsXP). FWIW, here's the configuration as installed on my WindowsME desktop (antique?)...
