I don't know very much about html code, but that is a pretty slick use of it to hide the information in the initial post, which I gather was your "test". Anyone reading this and wondering what I'm talking about, go to the very forst post on this topic and choose the reply quote function and see what you get. Looking at the "view source" tool one can wade through all of the html code to find the image information... but for the life of me I can't make heads or tails out of how it hides the image info from the UBB reply-quote. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Has anyone seen Schrodinger? ~~~~~~~ History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. Oh, that. In the first post, I "attached" the photo, rather than using the IMG-/IMG tags. In my blah dee blah post, I used the IMG-/IMG tags to reference the photo. And, as it should be, no one other than the one who "attached" the photo should be able to use it, KWIM? It's a test to see how inline images would display, given my parameters to resize photos on the fly. *CJ | |||

I suspected that's what you were after... a way to display the image in a manner that would not reveal the image information. Nope. The style="display: none" parameter is used between the three icons on the bottom of each note to "display" (but not really) the blank.gif between the three icons, without making them a true element on the page. I don't understand it... you'd probably have to ask Jeff or Karl in the Computing forum for the justification behind this code. *CJ | |||
