Hi Lori, I be thinkin we ate so much during the holidays, we just can't chew another morsel. Of course, we could all just be drinking coladas or sodas or, well, sumthin. Hope all is well with ya, how goes the new family member?

I've been hiding out. We had "penguin" weather here for about a month then went to shorts and t-shirt weather for a week and floods as the snow melted. Now we are back to our normal chilly and wet winter.

I think I'm safe now that the eastern half of the country has laid out the penguin white welcome mat.

It was almost penguin weather here in Orlando... it was 34 degrees yesterday morning... egads!!

Cassie, the furkid is doing well (Erin carries him everywhere, so hence he is spoiled rotten!!) and I will be getting an ex-racing greyhound on Saturday... for a look at him, go to www.greyhoundpetsorlando.org , click on photos and profiles, and look for "Showdown"... he's an absolute sweetheart, and drop dead gorgeous too! He's part of my fitness program this year... he's gonna keep me real honest, that's for certain!!

Happened to catch some show on Animal Planet this morning - seems that in Thailand there's a new fast food chain, Insects Inter. Menu includes grasshoppers, scorpions, millipedes, well, you get the idea.
Also the usual condiments, like hot sauce and ketchup.
