     Escape from a blender for a pencil-sized persona would depend on circumstances left unspecified. Under optimum conditions, with the machine inactive, uncovered and lying on its side, the captive needs only to crawl away to freedom. By contrast, if the blender contains liquid and is operating, tightly covered, escape would present a greater challenge: In that event the pencil-person might find comfort in the thought that there are things worse than being blended.
