Be ready to move you assets.

Should the socialist Democrat party manage to take over the White House in 2020, here is where my money is going.
And I strongly suggest you do the same!

You mean you don’t already have global mutual funds? I see no advantage to Canadian mutual funds over any other mutual funds. So, you are going toave better credentials than I’ve seen in order for me to take your advice over others.

No,
but I did have some Canadian individual stocks. For 1, Petro Canada ( PCZ ) comes to mind.

Well, # 1 Canada is most likely the most politically stable government in the world and
# 2 it's investment opportunities are many and diverse.
#3 it is within driving distance to enable you to visit the Corp and talk face to face with the CEO s.
Which may enable you to buy at a discount if you are building a private Mutual fund or just buying stock.

Shorting a stock means selling borrowed shares on the premise of making money as they stock price goes down. To short, an investor sells shares not currently owned, and they buy shares at the target price to cover the borrowed shares and pocket a gain.

If someone shorts 100 shares of a stock at $6 per share, and then buys to cover at $4 per share, the profit is the $2 drop in price per share, or $200. Shorting stock is more complicated than the straight-forward buy and sell trading process. Traders must pay interest on the borrowed shares. Therefore, a person is required to set up a margin account to short, which means they have the ability to borrow against the account.

No thanks,
I've seen far to many of those types who need to feed on my bones just for their next meal.
I prefer to do my own due diligence.

Sorry to hear you couldn’t find someone that can do better than you do. My Dad is one that hasn’t been able to either, but then he does do better than any manager he’s had. It’s also hard to be the sole manager of a 401k though I’ve known one company that managed to make that available to their employees.

Nothing to be sorry about, it was the best thing that ever happened to us because it caused us to go out on our own and form TTT. ( The Think Tank)
But you are correct, it is hard work, which is why we use 25 individuals/members to do R & D!

Then you aren’t doing it on your own. I was saying that the think tank I’ve used is doing better than any of the averages too. All of those in the recommendations group MUST also be invested in their recommendations and cannot leave before everyone is out! They aren’t allowed to invest to offset their portfolios either.
